Message plus the z32 was made to resist a squatting action. This was for a more street/road/track type of suspension. In a hard launch, a drag car say like a mustang, will squat up to 6+ inches to distribute weight optimaly for rear wheel traction. This is a great setup for the strip, but, pardon my french, handles like dogshit in the corners. A stiffer rear suspension for the rear is needed for tight cornering. Thus the reason for the tight rear supension in the rear. But the design for the anti squat had its downfall...whellhop when traction was compromised. The reason NISSAN didnt fix this was for the previous reasons given by Guapo and Barry'Z. Hope this was a helpfull explination. :)
